House Fire with
Subjects Reported Trapped

On Tuesday March 3rd, 2009 at 0000hrs Truck Company 3 was dispatched to 8719 Mitchell Rd for a reported house on fire with persons trapped. Truck 3 responded with 5 volunteers as the 1st Due Special Service. E-11 arrived on the scene with nothing evident. Upon further investigation E-11 located a room off on the number 2 floor. Truck 3 arrived and split their crews. The Interior team preformed a primary search and checked for extension. The driver and tillerman threw ladders and ran lights/fans. All occupants where located on the exterior prior to E-11 arriving. The LaPlata Command held Co.1, Truck 3, and A-519. Waldorf Volunteers operated for 1 hour.
