Working House fire on Raby Rd.
With a report of people trapped

At 0800 hrs, the Waldorf Volunteer Fire Department and surrounding companies were alerted to 11255 Raby Rd. for the working house fire with people trapped. E-31 and Chief 3B arrived on scene to find a 1-story from the front 2 in the rear home with smoke showing. As E-31 and 3B made entry into the first floor, RE-123 made their way into the basement from the rear with lines in place in the basement and on the first floor the fire was quickly brought under control. RS-840 arrived on scene and conducted a primary search of the residence, which turned up negative. Once the smoke cleared Command (Chief 3) held the units from 3,12, and 40. Soon after 3 and 12 were held. The Maryland State Fire Marshall investigated and had an arson dog come to the scene. Once the Fire Marshall finished with the house, 1 suspect was taken to the MSP La Plata Barrack for further questioning. Units operated for approximately 4 hours.
